Winnie

Meet Winnie — a sweet, gentle girl who is ready to finally find the loving home she has always deserved. At just 1.5 years old and around 37 pounds, Winnie has already been through more than most dogs should ever experience. She arrived at the shelter at only 6 months old, scared, neglected, and unsure of the world around her. But during her time in foster care, her light has slowly returned, and watching her learn how to feel safe, loved, and happy again has been truly special.

Winnie is the kind of dog who just wants a simple, happy life. She loves staying close to her people, quietly keeping you company while you work or relax. She enjoys soft toys, chewing on bones, chasing her favorite ball around the yard, and splashing in the water. She also loves quiet walks and becomes a wonderful walking buddy once she gets her excited wiggles out. At the end of the day, though, her favorite place is curled up beside her humans for snuggles and naps.

Winnie is potty trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready for her forever family. She does well with other dogs when introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully. More than anything, Winnie is looking for someone who will love and adore her exactly as she is and give her the safe, happy life she has waited so long to find.
