Meet beautiful Poppy ❤️

Poppy is officially part of Pitt Friends Rescue, and we are so excited to help her find the forever home she deserves. She quickly wins over everyone she meets with her sweet personality, gentle nature, and loving spirit.

Poppy was originally surrendered when her owner moved away and had been in the care of our amazing vet partners at Animal Hospital of Pitt County before joining our rescue. While her story has included heartbreak, we know her best chapter is still ahead.

This sweet girl is around 3 years old and weighs about 35–40 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, house trained, dog friendly, kid friendly, and curious about cats. Poppy loves walks, toys, belly rubs, and curling up on the couch after a long day. Most of all, she loves being around people and soaking up affection.

Poppy has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for a family to call her own. 💕
