Blaze

Blaze is a lovable six-year-old sweetheart with a goofy personality, a gentle heart, and absolutely no awareness of his size. One moment he’s politely asking for pets, and the next he’s somehow curled up in your lap convinced he’s a tiny lap dog. His affectionate, silly nature makes him impossible not to love.

Blaze enjoys walks of any kind—short strolls or longer adventures—and gets genuinely excited the moment he sees his leash come out. He sits patiently to have it clipped on and heads out happily by your side. Around the house, Blaze has an easygoing personality and simply enjoys being near his people. He isn’t overly clingy, but he loves sharing space with his family and will happily settle nearby for naps, cuddles, and companionship.

He is house trained, neutered, and has done wonderfully with children and other dogs. Blaze especially lights up around kids and enjoys attention from everyone he meets, all while staying polite and gentle. He takes treats softly, loves snuggles, and has excellent manners in public settings. While he does great with dogs and people, Blaze is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Blaze is heartworm positive, but his adoption fee includes a full year of slow-kill heartworm treatment at no cost to his adopter.

This handsome boy would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard, plenty of treats, and a family who appreciates a fun-loving companion with a cuddly side. Blaze is ready to bring laughter, loyalty, and lots of love to his forever home. 💙
