Olive

Meet Olive — a sweet, low-energy girl who is patiently waiting for her forever home. Olive absolutely adores people of all ages and quickly becomes your little shadow, happily following you from room to room. You may even find yourself checking the floor before stepping away from the kitchen counter because she always wants to be close to her people.

Olive is calm, affectionate, and easygoing. She enjoys walks, rides well in the car, and would happily join you for a hike, but she’s just as content lounging on the couch beside you while you relax at home. She is crate trained, behaves well when left alone, and is very food motivated, which has helped her learn commands like “sit” and “down.”

Olive has tested heartworm positive in the past, but she is being treated. She will come with heartworm treatment for the remainder of the year.

While Olive loves humans, she can be very selective with other dogs and may do best as the only dog in the home. She does well around cats and mostly ignores them unless one suddenly takes off running and she decides it’s time to play.
