Small But Mighty — Changing Lives Together

Since 2004, Pitt Friends has been working to save animals from the Pitt County Animal Shelter. Countless dogs spend many weeks at the shelter waiting for their forever homes. It is with the help and dedication of volunteers, that we're able to make that wait more comfortable in foster homes while receiving medical care. Without them, many of the dogs may never know life outside the shelter.  Additionally, as fosters are adopted, we're able to pull another dog in need into our care.  It's a win-win situation.

Whether you open your home as a foster, choose adoption, volunteer your time, or make a donation, you become part of giving these dogs the second chance they deserve. Together, our small but mighty village can continue changing lives — one rescue at a time.
