| Comments: | My boys and I adopted Biscuit (aka Benjamin) 3 weeks ago. I took him to the vet last week and he's already gained 2 lbs. (Currently 9 lbs). He knows he was rescued from a terrible environment because he acts so loving and appreciative of the love he's now receiving. Thank you Pitt Friends for saving our new puppy from a horrific outcome at the shelter. We love Biscuit so much!!! |

There is never a dull momement in the house... he is all PLAY!! Pitt Friends is a really great organization, I would adopt from them any time! | Comments: | After suddenly losing my much loved dogs, Shake and Moses, to natural causes within a month of each other I was devestated. I was concerned that my remaining dog, Lewis, would feel lonely and depressed. I contacted Emily and Barrett of E & B Boarding to inquire about their foster dogs. I went to meet a beautiful yellow lab mix named Jackson and it was love at first sight. I adopted him and the rest, as they say, is history. He fit right in with his big brother, Lewis. Jackson never has had an accident in the house. He somehow knew how to ask to go outside to use the bathroom. And since he was 8 months old, he didn't go through that puppy stage where he chewed up everything in sight. He just seemed so grateful to have a loving and comfortable home where he didn't have to wonder where his next meal was coming from. He became a "velcro dog" immediately. | Comments: | We adopted Buddy from Pitt friends on 9/15/10 after he had been taken into the shelter on 6/6/10. He was fostered (loved and nourished) by Linda Mazer at Pitt Friends. He is about a 4 yr old shephard mix. He has the sweetest soul of any dog we have ever had. He makes our family complete. He 'fit' right in from day 1 with our older lab Dudley who is almost 12. We adopted a female lab mix Zoe from For the Love of Labs (sadly no longer represented in our area at this time) as a 5-6 month old puppy 3 months later (she was found in a parking lot). They are best buddies. Our family is complete. They run, play, eat and sleep together. It's not always quiet but there is never a dull moment! I can't imagine our lives without them. Buddy has blossomed since we adopted him. I believe that he knows that he has found his forever home.
