| Comments: | After suddenly losing my much loved dogs, Shake and Moses, to natural causes within a month of each other I was devestated. I was concerned that my remaining dog, Lewis, would feel lonely and depressed. I contacted Emily and Barrett of E & B Boarding to inquire about their foster dogs. I went to meet a beautiful yellow lab mix named Jackson and it was love at first sight. I adopted him and the rest, as they say, is history. He fit right in with his big brother, Lewis. Jackson never has had an accident in the house. He somehow knew how to ask to go outside to use the bathroom. And since he was 8 months old, he didn't go through that puppy stage where he chewed up everything in sight. He just seemed so grateful to have a loving and comfortable home where he didn't have to wonder where his next meal was coming from. He became a "velcro dog" immediately. My husband and love him so much as he brings so much joy and laughter to our lives. Thank you Pitt Friends for saving my Jackson. And tha |

| Comments: | I adopted my cat Boots from the shelter 3 years ago. I honestly could not have asked for a better companion. Boots has the sweetest personality. He talks to me and walks around with me all day long. When I'm not looking, he rolls over on his back with his legs spread open to get my attention again. My experience with shelter pets has been amazing! |

| Comments: | There is a good looking black male shepherd hanging around my workplace. We are feeding him & trying to find his owner. He did not have any identification, but had about 2 feet of broken chain attached to his collar. If we are unable to locate his owner & cannot find a suitable home for him, is there anyway that your organization could help? Thanks. My work number is 252-551-1559 & home is 252-752-0127. |

| Comments: | Shortly after adopting Tigger, we changed his name to Tanner. Two days later, he made the 12 hour trip home to Connecticut with us. He is an excellent traveler and he will be back for many visits to Grammy's. Tanner has a wonderful personality, he makes everyone happy, and has made many new friends. Thank you for making this adoption possible, even though it's been less than a month, it's hard to remember our family without Tanner (a.k.a. Tan the Man). We are truly blessed! Mindy and Kaitlyn |

| Comments: | Not sure my first message was put on message board, but in all I was trying to say is how very proud I am of the work of my daughter, whom you all at Pitt Friends know well, Erica Hughes, she is a devoted volunteer and is passionate about this organization as well as any that have the lives of animals as their main concern. Just from meeting some of the people involved with Pitt Friends through Erica I must say you are a great "pack" of people whom I admire for your dedication to our wonderful 4 legged friends. God Bless you all and may every day hold two handfulls of adoptions for you. Erica's Mom |
